About the WEAR Organization

By tackling the problem of gender equality through unique aspects, WEAR (Women for Education, Advocacy & Rights) Organization is dedicated to promoting feminism, and fighting for women. In the educational aspect, WEAR focuses on increasing women's representation and history in education. Through fighting to integrate more women's history into curriculums, and teaching students and youth about women's history and contributions, WEAR aims to increase education for and about women, to combat learned sexism and promote gender equality from a young age. For advocacy, and fighting for women's rights, WEAR spreads awareness about issues that women face, attends/organizes protests and webinars, and works on various initiatives such as creating care-packages for women's shelters. By encouraging student involvement, and advocating for women, WEAR organization hopes to make great strides in gender equality!
